Ancient Deities is a digital game book set in a fantasy world and is available in English and German. You play it like a role-playing solo adventure, only in the browser. It was mainly developed for tablets, but works on all devices that use a browser.

The gamebook is beginner-friendly and introduces the player step by step to the world and the role-playing system. Over time, a variety of stories will be created that can be played with different heroes.

There are currently three playable stories and five heroes. The heroes "Dagor", "Elise", "Lepumof" and "Red Feather" share two short stories, while the hero "Great Dreamer" has a long and difficult story all to himself.

This is amazing. I know its made for browser play but any plans for a downloadable version in future?

I am glad you like it.

Unfortunately there will be no download soon.

I would have to talk to the artists to find out if it would be okay for them to include their artwork in the download.

The big problem for me is that the game will get new stories and other content on a regular basis. That would require a completely new download each time. So I think it makes more sense to just play the game in the browser for now.

Thanks, maybe a downloadable version would be an option once there is enough content for something that feels "finished".
