v0.2 Desktop Version

The desktop version allows you to follow the hero's journey on the map while reading.

Changes in this version:

• the game settings that you can select in the options have been moved from each hero's save game to the local storage. This means that the settings are now global for your browser and apply to all heroes. This fixed an error that occurred in some situations when changing the
settings before choosing a hero,

• changed the start-page at the Ancient Deities website. Now, the button for switching between windowed and fullscreen is more visible,
• desktop-version implemented for screens with a width/height-relation of at least 1.5/1. The desktop-version will start automatically, if the screen-requirements are fullfilled (e.g. requirements are fullfilled for a 16:9 monitor, but not for a 4:3 monitor).
• added 3 more map-sectors.
• added the "show all options" option in the menu. It allows you to see options during the game that your hero deoes not have for different reason (e.g. because he does not have enough mana, he does not have a required item, the option only exists for other heroes).
• "show all options" can be turned on/off during the game with the "T"-button right to the mana and health bars now.
• when you level up a hero and gain/improve a skill, you get 1 charge of this skill if the actual charges are below maximum.
• changed hero height from "meters" to "feet" and hero weight in the english version from "kg" to "lb."
• you can access the hints now from the options menu. But only if you access the menu while you are playing (not at the start).
• when you click the "daytime icon" you now access the date and reputation menu.
• choosing some options will now change your reputation.
• according to your reputation you will have additional or less options in some situations. This will only happen when your reputation reaches a certain threshold in a category.
• Added a button in the options menu to toggle whether the player is notified of reputation changes.
• removed the orientation-lock for mobile devices. You can play in landscape mode on phones and tablets now. To change the orientation, you have to restart the gamebook.
• fixed some typos.
• minor bug fixes and gameplay improvements.
